Salvia Seeds

Salvia flower seeds grow season-long blooming plants that attract hummingbirds, tolerate heat and humidity, and are easy to grow.

Salvia, pronounced SAL-vee-uh, is widely adaptable to many growing conditions, though its best color and performance will be achieved when kept consistently moist and well fed. As with most blooming plants, good nutrition will result in the best performance, especially for those plants grown in containers where plants will more quickly use up the available nutrients. We recommend Organic Espoma Flower-tone® which are approved for organic gardening and are safe for your family, pets, livestock and water habitats, as well as being specially formulated for blooming plants.

Salvia seeds come in both annual and perennial varieties. Perennial Salvia is more commonly called Meadow Sage, while Annual Salvia is commonly called Mealycup Sage or Scarlet Sage.

Each order of our fresh Salvia seeds is filled by hand, put into a resealable plastic bag and then placed into a labeled seed packet. It is our goal to provide our customers the best in freshness and quality.
