Rhubarb Plants

Rhubarb is a hardy perennial with edible stalks varying in color from the deepest red to the palest green and in length from 10 to 24-inches. Rhubarb is full of nutrients. It contains potassium, calcium, folic acid, beta-carotene, magnesium, and vitamins A and K. The leaves should not be eaten as they contain oxalic acid.

Rhubarb plants thrive in full sun or in lightly shaded areas. Each plant will produce about 2 pounds of stalks each year. Read our Growing Rhubarb article for helpful growing and harvesting tips.

Rhubarb is shipped as a dormant crown. Shipping starts the middle of March.
