Plant Features

The Pink Chiffon® Rose of Sharon Plant is one more in the soon-to-be-famous Chiffon Series that is so clearly superior to many of the older and weaker varieties of hibiscus, even being moderately salt tolerant. Known to attract butterflies, bees, wild birds, and hummingbirds, the prolific blossoms open wide with the outside petals being so pale pink as to be almost white. Beautiful maroon venation leads to the star of this amazing flower, the pastel pink, frilly center that gives this Proven Winners® selection its double blossom appearance. Prune to create a Rose of Sharon tree or allow nature to take its course and have a full and beautiful Rose of Sharon shrub.
