SKU: SFS-PET-PICCAMI-ER
Our ‘Picobella Cascade Mix’ Petunia Seeds are a random mixture of each of the new Picobella Cascade series in various hues of pink, blue, purple, red, orange and white. Yielding tons of small-sized, milliflora blossoms on a compact, tightly-branched plant, the entire Picobella Cascade series blooms early, which means you have many more flowers for a longer period of time. Who wouldn’t want that? Seeds are pelleted for ease of planting. Approximately 25 seeds per each hand-filled packet. More details...

Picobella Cascade Mix Petunia Seeds Growing Information

Petunias need light and consistently warm soil for germination, though once they’ve sprouted you can grow them up in cooler temperatures. You can direct sow into your garden if you have consistently warm spring temperatures, especially in southern areas where petunias are often grown as a perennial. Most gardeners in most zones will see the best results when using seed starting trays, enabling you to get a jump on the growing season and adequately monitor soil temperature, as well as allowing you to water those delicate seeds from the bottom, rather than the top. Our Hydrofarm Germination Station provides thermostatically controlled heat and a humidity dome, as well as a 72-cell reusable seedling tray. Just follow the directions, gently, yet firmly, press the petunia seeds into your growing medium and do not cover with soil. If watering from the top, use a mister so as not to dislodge the seeds while they are putting down roots.  At consistent soil temperatures of 72 to 77°F, petunias will normally germinate in 7 to 12 days.
