Habañera Mix Bellis Seeds

SKU: SFS-BEL-HAB-ER
Our ‘Habañera Mix’ Bellis Seeds produce large-quilled, double, showy blossoms measuring 2 to 3-inches in diameter, much larger than the average English daisy with a flower diameter of only about 1-inch. The buds emerge as two-toned spirals, opening into white-quilled balls liberally dipped in shades of light pink to bright red. This biennial will re-seed itself if happy, though its progeny may not be as pretty. We recommend deadheading to prevent self seeding. Aptly named, Habañera means “Dance of Havana”, or in this case, the implied feminine meaning is “She is a Havana dancer”, purportedly bringing to mind a Cuban woman in a red and white dress dancing slowly under the Havana moonlight. We would have to agree; Habañera Bellis is stunning, in the sun or in the moonlight! Approximately 50 seeds per each hand-filled packet. More details...
