Dakota Gold Helenium Seeds Growing Information

 Helenium flower seed will germinate quickly at soil temperatures between 70 and 75°F. They can be sown directly into the garden, with the best results being obtained when the seeds are covered lightly with vermiculite, rather than soil. Averaging only 3 to 5 days for sprouting, the first blooming will take place within 8 to 12 weeks with daytime temperatures at about 75°F and nighttime temperatures averaging 64°F.
