Crackerjack Mix African Marigold Seeds

SKU: SFS-MAR-CMA-ER
Our ‘Crackerjack Mix’ African Marigold Seeds produce one of the tallest African marigolds in four different shades: goldenrod, lemon yellow, fruity-orange and deep orange. Growing to a full 30-inch tall, and sometimes taller, the fully double blossoms are quite impressive at 4 to 5-inches in diameter. These are one of the most favorite varieties of African marigolds, growing in gardens from border to border and coast to coast across the U.S. Approximately 200 seeds per each hand-filled packet. Simply plant them about 1/4-inch deep and cover them lightly with vermiculite, keeping them moist until germination. Thin the African marigolds to about 12-inches apart and the French marigolds to 6 to 10-inches, depending upon the variety. Marigolds will self-sow year to year, so though considered an annual; you should not have to plant them every year unless you deadhead prior to their going to seed in order to control their growth.
