Organic Watermelon Seeds

Each packet of our Certified Organic Watermelon Seeds has approximately 50 seeds (unless specified otherwise). Each plant will produce approximately 4 fresh watermelons.

Watermelon seed is often started indoors in areas with a short growing season, but can also be sown directly into the garden when your growing season allows. When germinating watermelon seeds indoors, we recommend using peat pellets that won’t stress the plant when being transplanted. Under ideal conditions, it normally takes 4-8 days for the watermelon seeds to germinate. Seeds should be started 5 weeks before your estimated transplant date.

In order to grow the healthiest; best tasting watermelons, the pH level of your garden soil should be 6.0-6.8 though watermelons will tolerate a pH as low as 5.0. A home soil tester will take the guess work out of determining the pH levels.

We hand-fill each packet of our certified organic watermelon seeds for sale to ensure both freshness and quality. We sell only non-GMO watermelon seeds!
