Black Krim Heirloom Tomato Plant

The 'Black Krim' Heirloom Tomato Plant is one of our most unique tomatoes. It has a deep, dark red color that looks almost black and a deep reddish-green interior color. It will produce under adverse conditions, even tolerating salty soils well, and is the most reliable of the black tomato plants. Black Krim is an early-producing, flavorful heirloom from the Crimean peninsula of the Ukraine. The taste is rich and earthy, almost smoky; the fruit is beefsteak-sized and sets well in heat. Due to their naturally salty taste, sliced Black Krims do not require salting, which makes them ideal if you restrict table salt in your diet. Each 3-inch pot contains one Black Krim Heirloom tomato plant. More details...
