Scabiosa Plants produce low mounds of ferny green foliage with wiry-stemmed flowers that bloom all summer long. They are very attractive to butterflies, birds and bees.
Scabiosa, pronounced skab-ee-OH-suh, also commonly called Pincushion, are terrific when planted as an edging, in containers or as a mass planting. Dead-heading the spent blooms will keep the plant blooming for a long period. Dividing the clumps every few years will rejuvenate the plants and freshen the bed, ensuring more seasons of colorful beauty.
