Sage-Berggarten Herb Plant

SKU: GR-HE-SAGB-MM
The 'Sage-Berggarten' Herb Plant is an excellent culinary variety of sage, producing bright green leaves that age to a soft, downy gray. Berggarten Sage has a dense, compact growth habit with large, round leaves. Harvesting leaves from this evergreen perennial throughout the warm season will encourage abundant production of new growth. Like most herbs, sage thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. This plant is an excellent choice for container gardening. Its strong-scented leaves may be used fresh or dried in any recipe calling for sage. The flavor combines well with other herbs such as thyme and oregano. Besides its traditional use with turkey, try sage in apple dishes, with green vegetables, and to season pork and poultry. Each pot contains 1 herb plant. More details...

"Tall and healthy"

Jannie P on 8/3/2012 2:32:18 PM

Comment: It is the tallest and healthy looking herb plant. It didn't seem to suffer too much from the delayed delivery due to extra scan by whomever (UPS) says it's not their doing!!!!
