Rudbeckia Plants

Rudbeckia plants (Black-eyed Susan) produce bushy, upright clumps with profuse displays of daisy-like blossoms that are attractive to honeybees, butterflies and birds. It is commonly grown in mass in borders, cottage gardens, prairies, meadows or naturalized areas. Tolerates light shade, but best in full sun. Does best in well-drained soil. Tolerates some drought. Deadheading will prolong blooms. All of our rudbeckia plants for sale are shipped with very well-established root systems. We guarantee them to arrive alive and thriving.

The Goldsturm Rudbeckia Plant produces golden, daisy-like flowers that are 3-4" wide and have a brown central cone. The flowers last for months in the summer and contrast well with the dark green foliage. Deadheading old blooms will encourage continual flower production.

The Vietteā€™s Little Suzy Rudbeckia Plant produces foliage and flowers similar to those of other black-eyed-susans, however this cultivar is a dwarf by comparison! The Indian Summer Rudbeckia plant produces gorgeous 6-9-inch-wide, single and semi-double blossoms in the perfect shade of orange that is so reminiscent of cooler temperatures, turning leaves and pumpkin patches, but provides you with the color in midsummer, right up to the first frost. Its chocolate-colored eye is surrounded by gently overlapping petals that are most often delicately rolled along the edges, forming a cup that catches drops of moisture.
