Lilac Sunday Syringa Plant
Price $11.00
The 'Lilac Sunday' Syringa Plant gets its unusual name from the annual celebration that takes place at the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University where this cultivar was produced. True lavender with tiny flowers, the difference in this bush is that it not only produces flower panacles at the branch tips, but also from the laterally growing buds two or more feet down the stem from the tip. As a result, the branches tend to arch with the weight of the flowers and the bush takes on a willowy form. Truly amazing to behold when in full bloom!
