Gerbera Plants

Gerbera Plants produce large, beautiful, daisy-like flower heads with absolutely outstanding color. Having an exceptionally strong constitution, these brilliantly flamboyant blossoms are fantastic cut flowers, lasting remarkably long in vases. They are most often grown outdoors, but can also be grown indoors, provided they are in a sunny window with at least 6-hours of sunlight per day.

Gerbera, pronounced GUR-bur-uh, plants are also known as African Daisies, both names being used about equally around the world. They will perform their very best when fed a liquid plant food once per week, especially if grown in pots where the nutrients can be exhausted quickly. Removing the spent flowers will encourage additional blossoms, extending the season of blooms.
