Milky Spore is a non-chemical, naturally occurring bacteria that is lethal to the larvae of the Japanese beetle, which you may simply know as a lawn grub. The simplest way to describe Milky Spores is to describe it as an infection that is swallowed by the Japanese beetle grub, causing its death, which in turn releases billions of new grub killing spores. Milky spores are remarkably resistant to adverse weather and remain viable in your soil for many years, while being completely safe for your children, pets, water wells, ponds and streams. Milky Spore comes in two forms and is compatible with fungicides, fertilizers, pesticides and other lawn chemicals. It can be applied anytime after the spring thaw and throughout the season until the ground freezes:
You can rely on Milky Spore grub control. Simply multiply the L x W of your yard or affected area to come up the total square footage and choose the Milky Spore Powder or Milky Spore Granular that best suits your needs. Our blog on Japanese beetles and our video on the application of Milky Spore Powder should answer any further questions you may have. |
