Goji Berry Plant, 1-Year Rootstock

SKU: OP-GB-WB
The Goji Berry plant has long been used by the Chinese as a "super food." Its antioxidant properties help to cleanse the body of harmful free radicals while providing exceptional nutrition in a small, tasty package. Its purple flowers are trumpet-shaped and have long, white stamens. The Goji Berry plant (Lycium barbarum) is a deciduous perennial that can grow to 8-feet tall and just as wide, though when grown in a container it won’t get that large. A 5-gallon bucket will work well; the Goji plant quits growing once the roots hit bottom. It is extremely cold and heat tolerant, even tolerating highly humid climates, so it is highly adaptable for everyone! Our variety produces fewer thorns than most Goji plants. More details...

Comment: Bare root, small sticks, after placing them in water (per instructions) they got leaves within 2-3 days. Have planted them and they are doing great

Comment: I planted my goji berry plant about one month ago in a pot where it gets morning and early afternoon sun and late afternoon shade. It is growing fantastically. Couldn't be happier with it's early growth. By far the quickest grower of many bare root plants I have recently planted.

Comment: I have 14 Goji berry plants that I received bare root, once planted in one gallon pots they did not take long to begin growing. I have them in my green house awaiting warmer weather to place in my garden and they are doing fine... LOVE them.

Comment: I ordered 2 bare root goji plants in december and the arrived in short order, properly packaged and apparently in good condition. I planted them in their temporary quarters (1 gal pots) and placed them in my basement window. I will plant them in a raised garden in the spring. I am very happy with Garden harvest Supply and look forward to future orders.
