Our deep root soakers are the ideal solution to ensuring healthy trees, shrubs and bushes while making it easy to keep them that way!

Surface watering can lead to exposed, unstable and unhealthy roots, as well as to water waste and erosion. Deep watering, delivering water directly to the roots, conserves water normally lost through evaporation or runoff and will encourage deeper rooting, as roots tend to follow the water source. Water on top and the roots are shallow; water deep and the roots will have a better hold in your soil. Some deep root soakers even allow you to feed your trees, shrubs and bushes right through the stake!

Our 24.5-inch Deep Drip® Watering Stake is most often used for average-sized trees and easily connects to a garden hose or your current automatic drip or flood irrigation system. Crafted of recyclable ABS plastic, the UV-resistant cap is durable enough to be driven into the ground with a sledgehammer. It may remain above the ground, or buried completely to avoid damage from the lawn mower. Each Deep Drip Watering Stake is equipped with a mesh filter to prevent clogging and even allows the application of fertilizer granules, the water running through the deep watering stake, carrying the nutrients right to the tree’s roots.
