King Harry Potato

The King Harry Potato has been bred over the last few decades, by Cornell University, specifically to deter potato beetles. Its leaves have itty-bitty, sticky hairs that beetles find less than attractive. They will quickly move on to someone else’s potato plot that has more beetle-friendly leaves. The potatoes have a golden, thin, flavorful skin with a creamy white to buttery yellow, moist flesh.

The King Harry seed potato matures in 110 to 135 days.
