The 'Green Gem' Buxus Plant is a variety of boxwood that is very well-known for its evergreen broadleaf foliage, its naturally rounded shape, dark glossy leaves and its winter hardiness. Moderately salt tolerant, coastal growers should protect this boxwood from direct salt spray. You can expect richly-colored, emerald green foliage in spring through fall with maybe a little bronzing in the winter. 'Green Gem' makes the perfect topiary sphere or can be used in its more natural form as a hedge-row or garden partition. Each 4-inch pot contains one Green Gem Buxus Plant.
