Buddleia Plants are absolute magnets for butterflies and hummingbirds—and they make great cut flowers. Drought tolerant once established, they offer the best of both worlds: low maintenance and stunning beauty.
Buddleia (pronounced BUD-lee-ah) is also commonly called Butterfly Bush. Bearing long flower spikes or sprays of beautiful, tiny blooms all season long, it is fragrant and a popular ornamental shrub. Some varieties of this perennial bush will grow up to 10 feet tall, but new dwarf varieties are allowing more imaginative placement, some even being used as ground cover.
