Comment: Brandywine is my favorite tomato. And of the Brandywine: the Pink Brandywine. I plant several plants each year. I try to plant a new couple plants every 3-4 weeks during the growing season in order to get the plants to produce the whole season . Garden Harvest Suppy is a great place to purchase the plants. They have always arrived in good condition.

Comment: Wow! My package arrived on the first day of the 'ship by' window...and the brandywine tomato plants looked terrific! I am impressed by their size and apparent health. I got them in the ground right away and gave them a good drink. I think they've grown an inch in the past week! Can't wait for the tomatoes to come in!

huge and flavorful pink brandywine

"huge and flavorful pink brandywine"

Patrick S on 4/15/2013 6:32:34 PM

Comment: This is the second year we've used this GHS variety. This tomato is by far the tastiest (and largest) variety I've ever grown. Vines are extremely large, as are the fruit, so be prepared with an oversized cage and stake. In north Florida, we haven't gotten a huge yield due to summer heat, but the taste and beauty of the fruit is still worth the trouble. In a milder climate, this variety would probably by my favorite.
