When it comes to chrysanthemums, Belgian Hardy Mums are extraordinary! They can easily produce over 1000 flower buds per plant! And they are easy to grow, hardy, and available in a range of colors and bloom times.
Belgian mums don't require pinching or trimming, and they're likely to over-winter with the proper care. Plant in well-drained soil and avoid oversaturation. Feed them weekly. Once the mums start to bloom, stop all fertilizer; feeding after the blooming starts can cause the blossoms to fade. After the top is killed by frost, cut back to 3 inches above the ground and mulch.
All of our Belgian Mum Plants for sale are shipped with very well-established root systems. We guarantee them to arrive alive and thriving. They start shipping the first of June.
