Because Attention II Alfalfa is infused with Standfast™ Alfalfa Technology and Yield Loss Protection traits, it will stand at least twice as good as most other varieties.


Being pre-inoculated, treated and coated with Apron XL LS, Attention II Alfalfa has proven protection against soil-borne Pythium, known to cause poor seed germination under wet and cool climatic conditions; Apron XL LS also offers protection against Phytophthora and Downy Mildew. Additionally, Attention II Alfalfa has a high resistance to Anthracnose (Race 1) and to Bacterial, Verticillium and Fusarium Wilt. Additionally; good resistance to Aphanomyces (Race1) and Phytophthora Root Rot, as well as moderate resistance to Pea Aphids.


To attain maximum yields of Attention II Alfalfa, it is recommended to plant with a seeding rate of 15-25 pounds per acre. This prevents weed competition and further guarantees the high yields that Attention II is known for. New seedlings should start blooming before the first harvest and then it is recommended that you cut three to four times per year when the stand is approximately 25% in bloom. If you've seeded in late summer or early fall, harvest should be postponed until the following spring.
