Ajuga Plants

Ajuga plants (Bugleweed) are spreading perennials that produce spikes of flowers in late spring. They are commonly used as a ground cover. Filling in shady areas where lawns are difficult to grow. Can also be planted under trees, around shrubs, or on banks or slopes. Likes well-drained soils in full to part sun. Will grow in full shade, but best foliage color usually occurs in areas that receive at least 3-4 hours of sun. Plants attract pollinators.
