Tomato 'Goldie' Organic Heirloom Seed Packet

SKU: CS-TO-GOL-ER
The 'Goldie' tomato is over 200 years old, dating back to the 1870s. This heirloom is widely grown for its vigorous vines that produce loads of giant-sized, slightly flattened golden globes with mild flavor. Goldie is believed to be a yellow version of Giant Belgian, and is a tasty, non-acidic variety whose large, round fruits are highlighted by smooth blossom ends. It is not unusual for a single slice from the middle of a Goldie tomato to cover a slice of bread.

Product Details

'Goldie' is an indeterminate variety, meaning it will fruit throughout the season and that the vine will continue to grow as well. We highly recommend Espoma Tomatoe-tone® to provide the perfect nutrients in order to grow the healthiest, most vigorous tomato plants with high yields. Most tomato plants also require some sort of support as their tender, leafy branches are hard-pressed to support the weight of the fruit they bear. Take a look at our most popular tomato cages and trellis netting.
