Tomato 'Brandywine Black' Organic Heirloom Seed Packet

SKU: CS-TO-BRAB-ER
The 'Brandywine Black' heirloom tomato has maroon-red, large beefsteak-type fruit with almost black-colored shoulders. Brandywine, of all varieties, is one of the first recognized heirloom tomatoes, believed to have been introduced in the 1880s. This variety has a juicy, sweet flesh that is hard to resist. Each plant produces high yields of fruit, some of which can reach up to 2 lbs. Brandywine Black Tomatoes are excellent in salads and on sandwiches.

Product Details

'Brandywine Black' is an indeterminate variety, meaning it will fruit throughout the season and that the vine will continue to grow as well. We highly recommend Espoma Tomatoe-tone® to provide the perfect nutrients in order to grow the healthiest, most vigorous tomato plants with high yields. Most tomato plants also require some sort of support as their tender, leafy branches are hard-pressed to support the weight of the fruit they bear. Take a look at our most popular tomato cages and trellis netting.

Seedling Spacing: 36-48"
Row Spacing: 48"
Days to Harvest: 80-90
