The Fern 'Tennessee Ostrich Fern' Athyrium plant is a prolific grower and is often called Shuttlecock Fern or Ostrich Plume Fern. It forms very tall, plumy fronds in v-shaped clumps. At its most beautiful in the spring, the fronds are pale green and lacy looking, as even the leaves are sharply scalloped. The fiddleheads, or young frond sprouts, while still curled, are edible on this variety, cooked and served as a vegetable. 4.3" Pot Size You can earn 4 Rewards Points on this product!
