SKU: CS-KH-PUR-ER
The Purple Vienna Kohlrabi plant produces a colorful, flavorful vegetable with a mild, sweet flavor. Purple Vienna has purple skin with crisp white flesh. Excellent served raw with dips or grated for salads—also use cooked and stir-fried. Purple Vienna is similar to White Vienna except for its purplish skin and leaves, and slightly larger size. We consider this variety to also be more flavorful and our garden trials have shown it to be more resistant to the cabbage worm. You can earn 1 Rewards Points on this product!

Product Details
|
Kohlrabi, as most veggies, grows best in soil rich in organic material, but doesn't require depth. Kohlrabi is not a root crop; it is the stem that forms the bulb and the stalk that are used in their entirety. Composting is the most popular and economic way to provide the best organic matter for your garden. We also recommend testing your soil to determine the required essential nutrients, though in most cases Kohlrabi will grow well with just a bit of all-purpose fertilizer worked into the soil. - Seed Spacing: 1"-2" apart, thin to 6"
- Row Spacing: 15"-20"
- Days to Harvest: 44-55
A certificate of organic certification is available upon request.
