The 'Lavender-Hidcote Blue' Herb Plant has dark blue flowers in the summer, set against medium blue-green leaves. The bushy perennial plant grows to 12 inches tall. Hidcote Blue is a sweet-scented lavender with flowers and leaves rich in essential oils. Lavender is reported to have medicinal and antiseptic qualities and produces an aromatherapy oil used to relieve headaches and muscle aches.
