It is specifically formulated with high phosphorus and potassium levels to produce both strong roots and abundant flowers. Espoma Flower-tone® 3-4-5 Plant Food has a complex blend of natural organics which provide complete & balanced feeding of all 15 essential nutrients.
Flower-tone Feeding Instructions: - New Beds: Mix Espoma Flower-tone® Plant Food into the top four or five inches of soil at the rate of 10 lbs. per 100 square feet. Additional feedings should be made after the plants are well established.
- Existing Beds: Broadcast Flower-tone® at the rate of 5 lbs. per 100 square feet. Be careful not to put the plant food on the plant foliage or stem and do not mound at the base of the plant. Sprinkle Flower-tone® around like adding salt and pepper to food; after feeding, water thoroughly. Apply each month throughout the growing season.
- Individual Plants: Broadcast 1/4 cup Flower-tone® around the plant. Be careful not to put the plant food on the plant foliage or stem and do not mound the application.
