 The Dustin-Mizer Garden Duster is a lightweight, yet sturdy and economical solution to the ‘coffee can’ or ‘rotary’ method of applying powdered insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers, diatomaceous earth or other plant amendments to your gardens, lawn, pets or livestock. Simply turn the hand-crank and an even flow of dust is discharged from the 16-inch tube. The rate of application is controlled by the speed of the hand crank, so you can go as fast or as slow as you want. At 72 rpm, the garden duster produces 35 cubic feet of air per minute, enabling swift, yet controlled application of any powdered product. The 1/8-inch screen also allows small seeds, such as lettuce, spinach and some flowers to be planted in rows or to be broadcast over wider areas. You can easily control the area of distribution. The sturdy plastic and steel construction will last through seasons of use, while the hand-crank is geared for smooth and easy turning. The hopper holds 1-pound of powder or seeds.
