The Tendergreen Burpless plant produces excellent yields of 7-inch long, sweet, non-bitter and burpless cucumbers and is often preferred because the entire cucumber can be eaten without peeling. The fruit's tender skin is not bitter, is smooth and medium green, while the interior flesh is crispy. Pickle young fruit, but let some mature for slicing into salads or for sandwiches. Cucumbers vine, therefore require quite a bit of room to grow. Consider growing them on our trellis netting or with the aid of a plant support, especially if your garden area does not drain well. Allowing the vines to climb also makes harvesting much easier. - Seed Spacing: 3-4 seeds on 4" hills spaced 1'-2' apart or on supports 1'-2' apart
