The Beauregard is also known as the Louisiana Sweet Potato and is the one most commonly found in grocery stores. The Beauregard has a coppery skin with a moderately deep orange-colored flesh. The Beauregard matures amazingly fast, usually in 90-105 days, and is resistant to white grubs, soil pox and cracking. It grows well in both Northern and Southern climes.
