Asparagus knives need to be strong enough to be pushed into the soil and sharp enough make a clean cut. The asparagus knife has a 10.5 inch shaft which allows for easier cutting of the asparagus spears. The blade is 1.5" wide x 5.5" long. You can earn 11 Rewards Points on this product!

Use the Asparagus Knife to cut the asparagus spears when they are 4 to 10 inches long. To prevent the asparagus spears from becoming fibrous, harvest at least every other day. For best results - Use the Asparagus Knife and cut the spears 1 to 2 inches below the soil level.
- Never cut the asparagus spears within 2 inches of the crown to avoid damage to the developed buds.
- Never cut the asparagus spears above the ground and allow the stubs to remain.
- Discontinue harvesting when the diameter of the asparagus spears becomes less than 3/8 of an inch.
