Position the stake anchors firmly and deeply in three spots around the drip line of the tree. When mowing, simply unhook the rubber straps, mow over the anchors, and re-hook. We recommend pulling out a handful of grass from the immediate location of each anchor as you unhook it to help you find it when you reconnect the strap.
The Lawson Tree Stake Kit’s rubber support straps use a suspension principle to support each tree. While they absorb shock between the tree and the stake, the straps also allow some natural movement of the tree. This healthy, limited movement helps root to spread correctly, which enhances stability as the tree matures.
