Protect your hanging basket and landscape plants the way that pros do, with Terra-Sorb™. It is a water absorbing crystal that absorbs up to 200 times its weight in water and slowly releases it to nearby plant roots. Terra-Sorb is also highly effective for plants grown in containers.
Terra-Sorb hydrogel water saving crystals is the perfect way to beautify everything you grow. It is non-toxic and long-lasting, 3-4 years under normal gardening conditions. It releases the water gradually as plants need it. And because it contains potassium-based polymers instead of sodium-based, it breaks down into fertilizer instead of soil-damaging salts.
Use Terra-Sorb Medium Grade as a planting amendment to:
- Significantly increase water-holding capacity of soil
- Prevent plant losses due to dry soil
- Slowly release water into the root zone
Terra-Sorb directions: mix 1 Tbsp. per gallon of soil in containers; 1 lb. per 100 square feet in the garden. Be careful not to over-apply which can create spongy soil conditions, little goes a long way. The Terra-Sorb water saving crystals should be worked into the soil at a depth of at least 8” deep. If the placed any shallower, they make work themselves to the surface and have no positive affect on the plant.
