The Buddleia Flower Plant is a magnet for butterflies and hummingbirds—and makes great cut flowers.
Buddleia plants flower on new wood, so they should be cut back about 10” each spring before new growth begins. Allow at least 6 feet between Buddleia Flower Plants for maximum growth.
Regular watering and fertilization is key in growing strong, healthy plants and recommend using
Espoma Flower Tone. Adding lime to the soil results in increased growth and better flowering. Buddleias are also moderately drought-tolerant once established.
Our Buddleia plants have larger, healthier root systems because they are grown in larger pots.
