Pepper Seed

Each packet of our Organic Pepper Seed has approximately 100 seeds (unless specified otherwise), which plants a 130' row and produces approximately 160-pounds.

Pepper seed is best started indoors. When germinating pepper seeds, temperatures should be right at 80°F. A heated seedling mat and soil thermometer will insure the best conditions for germination. Under these conditions, it normally takes 6-10 days for pepper seeds to germinate. Seeds should be started 10 weeks before your transplant date.

In order to grow the healthiest; best tasting peppers, the pH level of your garden soil should be 6.0-7.0. A soil tester will take the guess work out of determining the pH levels.

All of our Pepper seeds are OPEN-POLLINATED unless otherwise specified as a HYBRID.
