Each packet of Organic Watermelon Seed has approximately 50 seeds (unless otherwise noted in the product description).
Watermelon seed is generally started indoors; however it can also be planted directly into the garden soil. When germinating watermelon seed indoors, temperatures should be between 60 °F and 105 °F. Under the correct conditions, it takes 4-8 days for the watermelon seed to germinate.
In order to grow the healthiest; best tasting watermelons, the pH level of your garden soil should be 6.0-6.8. A soil tester will take the guess work out of determining the pH levels.
