Each packet of Organic Endive Seed has approximately 1500 seeds.
Endive seed are generally started indoors; however they can be planted directly into the garden soil by using a Garden Seeder. When it is germinated indoors, temperatures should be 80 °F. Under the correct conditions, it takes 6-10 days for the endive seed to germinate.
In order to grow the healthiest; best tasting endive, the pH level of your garden soil should be 5.0.-6.0. A soil tester will take the guess work out of determining the pH levels.
All of our Endive seeds are OPEN-POLLINATED unless otherwise specified as a HYBRID.
