Prestige Scarlet Celosia Flower Seeds

As celosia seed and weed seeds tend to germinate at about the same time, it is suggested that you start seedlings in individual cells indoors. One of our seed starting kits or germination stations will ensure the best results due to the controlled habitat. Celosia seedlings started indoors will have a better chance of survival when competing with the potential weeds. Lightly cover the seeds with soil and keep consistently moist. If planting outside, nighttime temperatures should be between 60 and 70°F with daytime temps between 80 and 85°F. We also recommend a plant and seed blanket to provide adequate, consistent humidity and to maintain temperatures. Plant seeds in the ground 4-6” apart, thinning to 10-12”.
