The definition of Stellar is "of or relating to the stars" or "outstanding". Both of these describe to perfection the geraniums that are classified as Stellar Geraniums. Stellar Geraniums have unusually shaped flower petals with leaves that are always lobed, to one extreme or the other. The colors are what you might call party-colors, and range from the palest pastels to the most vibrant hues.
And though many geraniums under this classification may appear quite delicate, Stellar Geraniums are nothing of the sort. In fact, they will grow where others geraniums won’t. Stellar Geraniums are tolerant of low light and will bloom both indoors and out, in bright shade.
