The 'Brise D'Anjou' (pronounced breeze DAWN jhew) Polemonium plant means Breeze of Anjou, its namesake city in France, where it was first discovered. This is a variegated species of Jacob's ladder that has proven to be quite hardy and is one of the more recent imports to the U.S. The new foliage emerges as yellow-green with bright yellow edges, maturing to a deep bluish-green with creamy margins. The flower, appearing in late spring to early summer is a deep cadet blue and is quite dainty, but it’s the foliage that astounds and captivates from mid spring until the first heavy frost. 3" Pot Size.
