Exotic Impatiens are those impatiens that have unique blossom shapes and colors on rich, vigorous, sometimes variegated foliage. These are so much more than the common impatiens, including their tendency for better heat, humidity and cold tolerance.

Exotic Impatiens prefer less than 3 hours of direct sun each day, performing best with morning sun and afternoon shade. They grow in a well-mounded shape with color combinations that are most often tropical looking. They are equally at home in the shaded garden or in your shaded entryway in a hanging basket or decorative planter.

The 'Fusion Glow Yellow' Exotic Impatiens Plant is the result of careful breeding by Ball Horticultural Company while attempting, and succeeding, in developing a yellow-colored impatiens plant. A Simply Beautiful® selection, the flower is described as "orchid-like", the blossoms having one petal at the top and four petals at the bottom that fold in gently to form a cup. If that isn't enough of a change, this exotic impatiens is tolerant of the heat and humidity with absolutely awesome color! Pale buttery blossoms have bicolored centers of orange and dark golden yellow.
