Eggplant Plants

Eggplants contain Potassium, Calcium, and Vitamin A. They are considered a good food for the brain.

When transplanting the eggplants, it is best to use a starter plant food. Then when the plant is half-grown, side-dress with nitrogen. Also side-dress immediately after harvesting the first fruits. When harvesting eggplants, use a knife or pruning shears rather than breaking or twisting the stems. For best flavor use immediately after harvesting. For more harvesting tips, see our eggplant harvesting tips blog entry.

We grow our eggplant plants in larger pots, ensuring a more vigorous root system. We guarantee our starter plants to arrive alive, ready to thrive. Our eggplant plants start shipping according to the dates on our Spring Ship Dates page.
