Brunnera Plants |

Brunnera Plants produce exceptionally pleasing displays of flowers each spring amidst clumps of heart-shaped, uniquely-colored leaves. The blossoms most closely resemble a forget-me-not in shape and are shades of lavender-blue with a small yellow center. Brunnera, (pronounced BRUN-a-ra) also commonly called Siberian Bugloss, are happy in any area that is at least partly shady with consistent moisture, but well-drained soil. Though widely adaptable to soil types, Brunnera performs best in organically rich soils. We recommend either adding compost or the addition of a soil conditioner like Neputne’s Harvest or Jungle Flora. These perennial plants make a very attractive ground cover, even when not blooming.
