The 'Mint-Apple' Herb Plant is a perennial mint grown as a culinary herb and attractive ground cover. Fans of Apple Mint love its versatile sweet flavor as an addition to teas, mint jellies, couscous, fruit salads and mixed drinks. Apple Mint actually has a pronounced apple-spearmint fragrance. It grows to a height of up to 3 feet, with round, wrinkled, furry leaves topped by feathery spikes of light lilac flower heads. It can be a somewhat invasive spreader if not controlled.
