The Cold Frame Single is the ideal size for starting seedlings or for growing an herb garden. The ideal temperature inside your cold frame for cold-weather plants, those that grow best in the spring or fall, is 60° to 65°F. For warm weather plants, the temperature should be maintained at just under 75°F. The lid is designed to be propped open for ventilation, making it possible to more easily regulate the cold frame temperature. As temperatures drop, lower the lid to keep the interior the desired temperature; if temperatures drop below freezing, it may be necessary to pile blankets, newspapers or straw on top of and around the cold frame in order to provide additional insulation.

Comment: This little guy was exactly what I needed. My gardening space is pretty small and never had the room to start my seedlings. Pretty self-explanatory and easy to assemble. I can't wait to set out the artichokes! Thanks!
