The Cold Frame Double is a great option for those without the room to have a full-sized greenhouse. The ideal temperature inside your cold frame for cold-weather plants, those that grow best in the spring or fall, is 60° to 65°F. For warm weather plants, the temperature should be maintained at just under 75°F. The lid is designed to be propped open for ventilation, making it possible to more easily regulate the cold frame temperature. As temperatures drop, lower the lid to keep the interior the desired temperature; if temperatures drop below freezing, it may be necessary to pile blankets, newspapers or straw on top of and around the cold frame in order to provide additional insulation.

"Got it, put it together, placed it outside"

Comment: Got the kit and put it together. You may want a good drill as manually screwing in the screws could be hard. Went together well and placed it outside. Just wanting to start using it.

Comment: This Cold Frame is worth the money. Very light weight, but It has some holes in each corner, and if you get some tent stakes you can anchor it down, no problem. We had one really crazy wind storm (80+MPH) and the closed doors blew off (there is not a way to tie them down.) Duct tape to the rescue! That's my only complaint, I wish there was a way to fasten the doors down in the closed position. It's working great, though, my veggies are healthy and happy inside!
