Cilantro-Coriander Herb Plant

SKU: GR-HE-CIL-MM
The 'Cilantro-Coriander' Herb Plant is an annual with two distinct, aromatic parts. The leaf is commonly referred to as cilantro and is an indispensable ingredient in Latin American and many Asian dishes—especially in Mexican and Indian cuisine. Coriander is the seed of the plant, and is used dried, whole or ground, as a seasoning in curry powders, pickles, sausages, and soups, as well as distilled into an essential oil for herbal remedies, flavoring and perfumes. Cilantro thrives in full sun and will keep producing leaves as it’s pinched back for harvest throughout the growing season. The leaves are best when used fresh. Planted right in the vegetable garden, cilantro will attract beneficial ladybugs and parasitic mini-wasps, which control the populations of aphids and other nuisance insects that damage or destroy vegetable plants. Each pot contains 1 herb plant. More details...
